Our Process

Measured Right

Before we install, every pane is read with our Glass-Chek Elite 3200 to locate the low-E coating — so the correct film goes on the correct surface, every time.

Rogue figures are from the manufacturer's published specifications and reflect the strongest shade in each series; darker shades reject more heat.

Meet the owner

Built around quality.

I started Tinting Lab at 18 years old, and what began as a business quickly turned into a passion. I've always enjoyed working with my hands, learning new skills, and pushing myself to get better at what I do. Today, I take pride in providing quality automotive, residential, and commercial window tinting while continuing to grow the business I started from the ground up.

That same drive carries into my life outside of work. I grew up playing competitive soccer and now spend my time running marathons, competing in triathlons, training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and riding horses. I'm also a full-time student at Sacramento State.

Whether it's business, school, or athletics, I've always believed in staying disciplined, working hard, and constantly improving. That mindset is a big part of how I run Tinting Lab and the level of care I bring to every job.

I'm grateful for every customer who chooses to support my business, and I look forward to continuing to grow Tinting Lab while providing work I'm proud to put my name behind.

Questions

Frequently asked.

What's the difference between Carbon and Ceramic film?
Both go beyond basic dyed film. Carbon film gives strong heat rejection and a clean matte black look; ceramic film is the higher tier, with enhanced heat and infrared rejection and excellent optical clarity. We carry both and help you choose based on your goals and budget.
How do I know which film is right for me?
It comes down to what you want most — heat rejection, privacy, appearance, clarity, budget, or a mix. Tell us your priorities and we'll recommend the film that fits. You don't need to know the answer before you reach out; that's what the consultation is for.
Does window film reduce heat?
Quality window film is designed to reduce solar heat coming through the glass, which can make a vehicle, home, or building more comfortable. How much depends on the specific film — we'll share the verified numbers for the options we install.
Does window film protect against UV?
Performance films are built to block a high percentage of UV, which helps protect skin and reduce fading of interior surfaces. We'll confirm the rated UV protection for your chosen film.
What tint shade should I choose?
Shade is about appearance and privacy, and performance is about the film itself — the two are separate choices. We'll help you pick a shade you like while making sure it's within legal limits for your application.
How long does installation take?
[ ADD TYPICAL INSTALL TIME HERE ] — it varies by the size of the job and the number of windows. We'll give you a realistic timeframe when we scope your project.
Can you tint commercial buildings?
Yes. We work with offices, storefronts, and other commercial properties for solar control, glare reduction, privacy, and a professional appearance.
Can you tint residential windows?
Yes. Home window film can improve comfort, cut glare, add privacy, and help protect interiors from UV and fading — with shade and clarity options to match the look you want.
What should I expect immediately after installation?
Freshly installed film needs a short curing period, during which you may notice slight haze or small water pockets that clear as it dries. We'll give you simple aftercare instructions so your film cures cleanly.
How long does window film last?
Rogue films are color-stable and built to last for years, designed to hold their appearance and performance. How long it lasts depends on the film and the environment, and we'll set the right expectation for your project.
